Peter is married to pianist Susan Hlasny.  Susan lives and works as a teacher and pianist in Calgary, Alberta.  She received a Master’s degree in piano performance from the University of Calgary, where she studied with the acclaimed pianist Charles Foreman.  As well, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in piano performance from McGill University where she studied with Elizabeth Dawson and Dorothy Morton.  Susan has taught piano for Medicine Hat College and Alberta College in Edmonton.  Currently, she teaches for Mount Royal University Conservatory in Calgary where she also serves as piano coordinator.

Susan and Peter enjoy working together on creative projects, such as performing piano duets and collaborating on song writing.  They live in Calgary near the Rocky Mountains.
